- Explanation of Sight Reading process
- Strategy:
- Signatures - Time (how many beats per measure) and Key (which notes are sharp or flat / which scale?). Do they change?
- Tempo - Fast, medium, slow? Change?
- Accidentals - Are there any notes outside the key signature? Do you know the position for those notes?
- Repeats, Roadmap, Rhythms - Any repeat signs, D.C., D.S.? Any tricky rhythms?
- Signs, Symbols, any other text needing clarification?
